El evento proporcionará detalles sobre la nueva ordenanza para vendedores ambulantes, asegurando que todos estén bien informados y cumplan con las regulaciones. El taller será en inglés y español. Para operar, los vendedores necesitarán una licencia comercial de Nevada, un permiso de salud del Distrito de Salud del Sur de Nevada y una tarjeta de salud válida para todos los empleados.
Mirage pagará más de $80 millones en indemnizaciones ahora que cierre
Los operadores de The Mirage en Las Vegas pagarán $80 millones en indemnizaciones al cerrar el resort el 17 de julio, afectando a 3,350 trabajadores. Todo indica que Las Vegas seguirá teniendo una mujer al frente de su destino pues lo más probable es que la elección se celebre entre Victoria Seaman y Shelley Berkley, quienes hasta el momento llevan el mayor numero de votos. En el Distrito Local 3, Olivia Díaz retendrá su puesto como Concejal ya que el reglamento establece que si un candidato obtiene más del 50% de los sufragios en la elección primaria, automáticamente gana la elección general y en este momento Díaz lleva más del 56% en una ventaja que parecer irreversible.

Rudy Giuliani, exabogado de Donald Trump, fue fichado el 10 de junio en el Condado de Maricopa, Arizona. Está acusado de conspirar para revertir la derrota de Trump en las elecciones de 2020 en Arizona, donde Joe Biden ganó por más de 10,000 votos. Mark Meadows y Michael Roman, asociados de Trump, también se declararon no culpables de nueve cargos por delitos graves. La acusación alega que 11 personas presentaron nombres de electores falsos para mantener a Trump en el cargo. Giuliani se declaró no culpable el 21 de mayo y pagó una fianza de $10,000. Cierres desde el Domingo 16
Las Vegas Boulevard tendrá restricciones debido a trabajos de excavación y pavimentación. Desde las 9 p.m. del domingo 16 de junio hasta las 5 p.m. del miércoles 19 de junio, habrá un solo carril abierto en dirección norte entre Tropicana Avenue y MGM Drive. Desde las 9 p.m. del 16 de junio hasta las 5 p.m. del jueves 20 de junio, estarán abiertos dos carriles en dirección norte desde Harmon Avenue hasta Flamingo Road. Además, habrá cierres y restricciones adicionales en Tropicana Avenue y Las Vegas Boulevard para trabajos de líneas de agua y pavimentación. Se recomienda usar aplicaciones de navegación para información actualizada sobre el tráfico.
Definidos los candidatos al Senado de los Estados Unidos por parte de Nevada
Las contiendas para el Poder Legislativo a nivel federal también han tenido ya una definición en este proceso electoral. En el Senado de los Estados Unidos, el ex combatiente Sam Brown lleva hasta el momento más del 57% de los votos de los Republicanos y con ello buscaría el escaño que en este momento ocupa la Senadora Jacky Rosen, quien obtuvo mas del 90% de los votos de los Demócratas para aspirar a su re elección. Brown ya en la contienda pasada intentó competir por el escaño que ocupa la Senadora Catherine Cortez Masto, pero en la elección primaria se quedó en el camino frente a Adam Laxalt, quien a su ves no pudo superar en la elección general a Cortez Masto.
Conocen niños el funcionamiento del City Council de North Las Vegas
El Ayuntamiento de North Las Vegas fue sede de una celebración del Día del Niño el pasado domingo. La Alcaldesa Pamela Goynes-Brown y el Consejo Municipal recibieron a varios niños en asociación con el Instituto de Investigación y Política para la Infancia de la UNLV. Durante el evento, los niños tuvieron la oportunidad de hacer preguntas a la alcaldesa y a los miembros del consejo sobre el funcionamiento de la ciudad, mostrando su entusiasmo por aprender sobre el liderazgo y los deberes cívicos.
